Renewing your registration
Individual certifiers
Applications for renewal of individual registrations must be submitted via our online portal.
Note: Even if you renew every 3 or 5 years, you must still submit evidence of professional indemnity insurance every year to Building Commission NSW.
Corporate registration
Submit an application for corporate registration via our online portal.
Note: Even if you renew every 3 or 5 years, you must still submit evidence of professional indemnity insurance every year to Building Commission NSW.
Registration that expired less than 90 days ago
If your individual registration expired in the last 90 days, you can lodge an application to reinstate your registration via our online portal.
Applications to reinstate your registration are only available for individual certifiers. Corporate registrations are ineligible for reinstatement.
You can't carry out any certification work until you've been advised of your application's outcome.
Varying your registration
If you want to vary the terms or conditions of your existing class of registration, submit your form via our online portal.
Changing your details
It’s important that Building Commission NSW have your current details.
If you need to let us know of a change to your personal, business, employment or insurance details you can update your record via our online portal using the change of details form. This form must be submitted within 14 days of your details changing.
